Planted some Pumpkin seeds...

I happened to throw in some pumpkin seeds into my Frangipani pot, couple of days later and they germinated two to be precise. And no I'm not expecting to harvest pumpkins. One of them has these distinguished white lines on the leaves,it seems its  natures way for the  plant to protect itself from aphid attacks hence the white lines and the other one has plain green leaves. The vine has started to creep on the bamboo stick that i had tied it to for support. Two days back there were these tiny little pumpkin blossoms. The growth of one vine is rigorous while the other one is slow and both share the same container. I  have tried growing pumpkin Vines before but they got infested with black aphids so had to get rid of them, these however are doing good so far and no signs of any infestation fingers crossed it stays that way.I removed the flowers and will also get rid of any lateral stems that come up so lets see how things go from here.
